The Studio

IBM Studios Hamburg is located in the economic heart of Northern Europe. Our studio was established in 2015 as a part of the global IBM Studios network. We create experiences for customers and work with other designers and engineers around the world.

Meet the team

  • UX Design

    Design is the art and science of creating positive emotions through interactions.

    Through the interpretation of research and requirements, UX designers craft experiences that connect people with our products and services in meaningful, enduring ways. Tools of the trade include market and audience analysis, user journeys and wireframes.

  • Visual design

    Design is like a book: imagination becomes reality and theory becomes an experience.

    Renate Mittelstrass

    Visual designers manipulate observable elements, with the goal of eliciting desired emotional responses and building durable connections with users. Tools of the trade include imaging, typography, layout, color and style.

  • Front-end architects

    Design is the perfect combination of aesthetics and usability.

    Artem Adams

    Front-end architects collaborate with the team to generate ideas and make design concepts tangible. Tools of the trade include web and mobile programming skills and synthesis.
